Original Creation

Birch lane walk after the rain in Louboutins - Final version

Voy Kay 09 Oct 2020

Third and final attempt to try and fix this painting to something worthy of exposing, specially the foliage. This has been catching dust since May 2020 and I decided it will either be a 'show' or a 'go'.
I combined the advices from Jin7 & specially from Sunnylady and this time, I had success. Third time's a charm!
The trees finally look a bit like trees now, the girl has more ground under her feet, more accents and more reflection. In all, 80 extra minutes invested to this painting making it 8 times more prettier to look at! And my family finally likes the new version!
Hope you might like this too, please let me know and don't forget to read some articles!!
Oh yes, and a new article was created for pimping this old painting!

Tehcnics: Canvas used was a museum thickness 20"x20" and prepared with liquid white. Lots of different paints and brushes were used in this (FIVE brushes alone for the girl!!).
In fact, few was easy with this creation where the original was made in acrylics. The girl was painted larger by me and that made it possible to paint Louboutin shoes for her ..... more or less!!

A second picture shows what it has been before, when it was painted in May 2020.

Beautiful painting!
It ’s much better than what you ’ve drawn before.

It is true Jin, and I need to thank you and Sunnylady for that.
Several people encouraged me not to give this one up and I waited several months before I tried to alter it. With success!

Till next one my friend!

Voy, no problems. Jin is right, this version looks way better. The trees got dimension and girl got a bit details and reflection and stood out to become a focal point. Great job. Great persistence to achieve your objective and great patience.

Dear Sunnylady,
I am so happy that I insisted into keeping this one for later improvements and even more happier that I got much needed and very useful help with it.
I am VERY grateful for that!!
